Meetings & Conferences - the Ellersly conference wing
The Ellersly’s charm and calm ambience even helped Maggie Thatcher negotiate with Arthur Scargill during the mid ‘80’s Miners’ Strike (Ian MacGregor may have helped a bit too). Why book your meeting anywhere else?
The Ellersly House has its own bright, modern conference wing, the Edinburgh Suite. Our conference facilities are ideal for discreet boardroom meetings, strategy sessions, away-days, team-building and training events.
Clients include companies and organisations such as the Institute of Purchasing, Everest and Cricket Scotland.
The Ellersly Room is also regularly used by business networking groups for breakfast and evening meetings.
We will set up the meeting rooms, the Castle, Capital and City rooms, to your specifications, based on the following configurations:
- Up to 20 to 50 people in the Castle.
- Up to 20 people classroom style in the Castle.
- 2 breakout rooms, the Capital and City.
You can see floor plans of the Edinburgh Suite and other rooms here.
There is free parking to the front and side of the Hotel.
Lunch can be served directly to your meeting room, or you can enjoy your meal in the Kinellan Restaurant which serves delicious, freshly prepared, home cooked Scottish cuisine.
You can also enjoy a drink in the relaxed surroundings of the Whisky Bar or Ellersly Lounge.
Local community groups, clubs and societies can use our meeting rooms at no cost, if they are available.
Please provide your own presentation equipment.
