Ellersly House is a great base for sampling world class golfing in Edinburgh, East Lothian or Fife, complemented by the culinary delights of our Kinellan Restaurant and Edinburgh.

Local courses include Prestonfield, Duddingston, King's Acre, The Braids and Craigmillar.

East Lothian, justifiably known as ‘Edinburgh’s Golf Coast’, has 22 excellent golf courses within 20 and 45 minutes drive of the Hotel. Scotland’s sunniest county boasts some of the best links courses and inland golf courses in the world, including North Berwick, Gullane, Dunbar, Craigielaw, Royal Musselburgh (the oldest playing golf course in the world) and Longniddry.

The Ellersly also provides easy access to some excellent courses to the north, west and south: St. Andrews, Gleneagles and Carnoustie; and Roxburghe, Cardrona and Lauder.
