Car Parking
There is parking both to the front and the side of the hotel.
Payment of Accounts
Cheques are acceptable when supported by, and within the limits of, a current cheque card. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express.
Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to arrival. Cancellations must be made no later than 2pm on the day before you arrive. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival will incur the first night’s charge. Any non–arrivals will also incur this charge. If you need to cancel, please contact the hotel to cancel and obtain a cancellation number.
Check In
Check in is by 2pm or possibly earlier by prior arrangement.
Check Out
Please check out of your room prior to 11.00am. Should you require to leave your luggage longer, this can be attended to at reception.
Valuables
The management cannot accept responsibility for guests' effects left on the premises, but a valuable item may be deposited for safekeeping against a receipt signed by the Manager or a member of reception staff. This receipt must be retained as it will be required as the authority for the item to be withdrawn from deposit.
Communications
Wireless internet is available in the Whisky Bar and Ellersly Lounge area of the hotel. Each bedroom also has a direct dial telephone.
Laundry Service
A laundry service, provided by a local company, is available, please ask at reception. This service is not available at weekends. Please ask at reception for a quotation and a due date for your laundry’s return.
Smoking
The hotel is totally non-smoking to comply with government legislation.
Tourist Information
We have an extensive supply of information on places to visit and things to do within Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Some of this information is contained in a book in each room and check our the Local Attractions section.
Breakfast
A full Scottish cooked breakfast is served in the Kinellan Restaurant between the following times:
- Monday to Friday 7.30am - 9.30 am
- Saturday and Sunday 8.00am - 10.00am
Morning Coffee
Tea and coffee are available in the Lounge all day. Why not try some of our homemade scones and cakes made fresh by our pastry chef every day?
Lunch
Lunch is served daily in the Lounge and in the Kinellan Restaurant. Afternoon Tea Afternoon tea is served in our Lounge throughout the day.
Dinner
Our dinner menu changes regularly and is available in our Kinellan Restaurant between the following times: 6:30pm - 8.45pm please contact reception to reserve a table.
Special Diets
We can cater for just about any special diet, advance warning would be very much appreciated.
Packed and Picnic Lunch
Should you be planning a day out or a long journey, we will be happy to provide you with a picnic lunch. Please order with reception by 9.00pm the previous day.
